Scholarship Opportunities

Indiana School Choice Scholarship Program 2023-2024 School Year

Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program, commonly referred to as the voucher program, provides scholarships to eligible Indiana students to offset tuition costs. Students must satisfy both household income requirements and student eligibility criteria to qualify.

Students must qualify under one of the eligibility tracks and meet the income eligibility requirements to be approved for a Choice Scholarship award.

Special Education TrackPre-K TrackPrevious Choice Scholarship Student Track
Have an Individualized Education Program (IEP), pursuant to IC 20-32, or Service Plan (SP), pursuant to 511 IAC 7-34.
Have received and used an Early Education Grant under IC 12-17.2-7.2 to attend pre-k at an eligible Choice Scholarship school and be applying for a Choice Scholarship at the same Choice Scholarship school they attended pre-k with an Early Education Grant.
Have received a Choice Scholarship in a preceding school year, including a school year that does not immediately precede the school year for which the student is applying for a Choice Scholarship.
Previous SGO TrackFoster TrackTwo Semesters in a Public School Track
Have received a scholarship award from a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) in a previous school year, including a school year that does not immediately precede the school year for which the student is applying for a Choice Scholarship.
Be placed in foster care, as defined in IC 31-0-2-46.7; and provide supporting documentation from a DCS case worker.
Have been enrolled in kindergarten through grade 12 in a public school, including a charter school, in Indiana for at least two semesters immediately preceding the first semester for which the individual receives a Choice Scholarship.
Sibling TrackF Public School Track
Have a sibling who received either a Choice Scholarship or a scholarship award¹ from an approved Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) in a preceding school year, including a school year that does not immediately precede the school year for which the student is applying for a Choice Scholarship.
Due to no assigned “A-F” school grades from the 2021-2022 school year, there are no “F” public schools for the “F” Public School Track to be utilized for the 2023-2024 school year.

The following chart shows the guidelines established by the state for the 2023-2024 school year. Pre-K Program

We are a Paths to QUALITY™  registered ministry in Indiana’s statewide rating system for early care and education programs.

Each level of Paths to QUALITY™ builds on the foundation of the previous one and as of last year we began working on achieving Level One. There are four different levels and we are proud to announce our school has achieved Level 3 on the Paths to QUALITY™ Rating System. Being part of Paths to QUALITY™ means we are committed to improve the quality of early childhood education and have met the standards designed to support children’s growth and development.

As a Paths to QUALITY™ Level 3 Provider, Holy Cross School is now qualified to accept On My Way Pre-K Grants.

  • On My Way Pre-K grant for families who meet the following eligibility requirements:
    1. Child must be 4 but not yet 5-years old by August 1.
    2. Child must be a resident of Indiana.
    3. Parents/guardians in the household must have a service need (working, going to school, attending job training).
    4. Families must earn less than 127 percent of federal poverty level (FPL)
  • Child Care Development Funds (CCDF)
    1. Child must be a resident of Indiana.
    2. Parents/guardians in the household must have a service need (working, going to school, attending job training).
    3. Families must earn less than 127 percent of federal poverty level
